IS BPO THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY EVENT?

Big Party Orchestra has performed for audiences from 50 to 5,000. Even though we are a 7-piece band, we have a top of the line sound system and our own dedicated engineer that allows us to truly control our volume. 

Although we are a large band, the sound system outlined above not only allows us to be quiet, but also very compact and space efficient when necessary. We typically ask for a 12'x25' performance space but we can fit on a smaller stage or unusual spaces if necessary. We can make just about anything work.


HOW DOES THE SONG LIST WORK?

Our song list gives you a crystal clear picture of what we can do. As far as what we do at your event is 100% dependent on the dynamic of your guests. We do not prepare set lists, instead we call songs on the fly, exactly how a DJ would approach any event.

DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR OWN SOUND AND LIGHTING?

Yes. We provide all our own sound production, engineer, and stage lighting.

DO YOU PROVIDE YOUR OWN STAGE?

No, we do not own or provide our own stage. However, we do not require a stage to perform. Having a stage is always preferred but optional.

DO YOU PROVIDE RECORDED MUSIC DURING YOUR BAND BREAKS?

For our private events, we provide recorded music during our breaks. However our break time is max 25 minutes and occurs during the end part of dinner service when no one feels the break. Our goal is have the least amount of break time to optimize dance time.

DO YOU CARRY EVENT LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes, as more and more venues are requiring liability insurance, we carry our own liability insurance at no cost to you.

WILL SOMEONE IN THE BAND MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS?

Yes, we can emcee all of your announcements, special moments, etc. across the evening as long as we are provided with a clear itinerary.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes, we travel locally and nationally on a regular basis.

DO YOU TAKE SONG REQUESTS?

Yes, the band takes song requests. We learn and perform all special dances with our 4hr package. This allows you to choose the right special songs for your event. Any additional song requests can be purchased if needed.

DO YOU OFFER CEREMONY SOUND OR MUSICIANS?

Yes and yes. We offer a variety of music configurations from a solo pianist to string sections to small bands and all points in between. We also offer a wide range of ceremony sound system options ranging from simply providing audio support for the officiant to providing a comprehensive PA for bands, vocalists, vows, etc. Pricing and options are available by request.

IS THERE A SMALLER VERSION OF THE BAND?

Big Party Orchestra usually performs as a 7-piece band. However, we do have other band options in the event that Big Party Orchestra is already booked or the space is truly limited. Please contact us and we will provide you with our best options.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?

Once you have notified us that you are ready to book, we will place a firm hold on your date. You will be sent our questionnaire that will provide us with all the information we need to draft a contract. Once you have reviewed the contract and any necessary adjustments have been finalized, you will print, sign, and mail in the contract with the 50% deposit. You will be sent a fully executed contract upon receipt. The remaining balance is owed on the day of the event prior to the performance. CLICK HERE TO BOOK.
